Have you noticed the resemblance between Britney and Marilyn Monroe lately? [Yes! (scroll to EMA awards bit; see this post for some more of her [and Li Lo mainly] as MM [expect much more in future (this is numbered '1' in the link [this is copied and pasted from Britney's official blog, with additional images + my words in squared brackets]) looks like they're about to go overboard with it [Edit: building up to Britney's inevitable Marilyn Monroe style ritual death, probably when she reaches 30 (a few years on from that I suspect)], cheers to commenter for this (nice filler post in the mean time; working on one post atm up in a day or 2 then start work on some more substantial ones I think) I'm reposting Britney's 'Circus' video, loaded with MK suggestions (the lyrics, a few random guys I didn't mention before; like the one in a checkerboard costume doing some spinning ((in general all the spinning/spirals and black/white themes are most prominent)), and the androgynous dude ((a la Katy Perry)), half of Britney's face covered by hair; it's pretty endless wrote up some other parts of it in the linked post)].
Well it turns out the two lovely ladies have more in common that their love for gorgeous couture. Seems Marilyn was also a fan of the circus! [Heh @ Marilyn riding the pink elephant (=drugs/LSD etc/dissociative 'trip'/hallucinations) + white/black stripes (the kind of tails ((signifying/showing the victims' dehumanization)) I wrote about in the previous post feature a lot here)]
Check out Milton's Marilyn Monroe Photography Collection for more images of Marilyn [note top right pyramid/duality logo].
Marilyn dressed as original Hollywood sex-kitten Theda Bara [though pictured because of the tiger; on the link note leopard-print background + Theda's ritual serpents].
[Random one added, MM in a ballerina's tutu, synch up to Britney in the boxed butterflies post (comes out of the music box spinning in a smaller tutu [with a mirror on the top]).
I think well soon have also a "Lily Allen" bloodtype since such nothing are stuffed down our throats daily, got them in our blood:

In the last pic here, I could have sworn its KATHERINE HEIGL, not BRITNEY...

Clockworked:

Mabe its a late thought but whatever. The name of the album is less than ironic since between 2007-2008, Britney's life was indeed a (tragic mediatic) circus... Yes, they know how to "spoil" their slaves...

Thanks Chris, as always great contribution; does look a lot like Heigl, they all can look virtually the same (especially when they get the whole sculpted blond-hair/doll-ed up thing going on). This link shows the Britney image compared to MM, and with info on other Hollywood kittens Marilynized (showing Anna Nicole's similar death [will be Britney's future], who died at age 39; marilyn at age 36 [6/9], so Britney at 33? 31? or maybe she'll be thrown from the 'freedom train' dead on 30).
ReplyDeleteCheck out this new set of blatant images with Harry Potter's eMMa Watson... the bird cage, doll, mirror and such as standard MK symbolism in these types of photo-shoot. Reminds me of the Avril Lavigne Porcelain Doll shoot.
Lily looks all dazed and confused in SPIN magazine [Brandon Flowers gets a mention on cover].
Lady GaGa's (I said we'd be seeing much more from her in that post, she has been pushed so much in the UK lately [here's the post on her Poker Face video btw; similar use of dogs as in the post before this one]) trip to the UK has had me in stitches (at the insane shit they have her wearing/dolled-up in the freezing london night and such) and I need to write something on it I think (she's supporting the Pussycat Dolls atm, Britney will next be touring [the circus animals, click for official poster] with those porcelain kittens); people actually think she is original (in her style/music) and not just another corporate puppet... now Mark Ronson has his grubby hands on her already ;S Hearing Paris being interviewed (she went on shit like Loose Women [British verson of The View's insanity]) is interesting (they are both way too close for comfort ;P [I live in London]), apparently she'd like to work with GaGa and says it's because they both went to the same Catholic Girls School[note Oz near the start of that link] (posted on in original GaGa link [Convent of the Sacred Heart, went more into it in the Chuck post]), the way she said it sounded very scripted (exactly as you'd expect a programmed 'Catholic School Girl' [wonder why they've always been so associated with sex ;] to say it).
Probably use some of your previous links (I think some were on GaGa too) in a future post and looking forward to more + your sentiment always resonates well with me.

why are the comments being deleted from here?
ReplyDeleteI haven't deleted any, all comments are saved to my email and there aren't any that came through that have since dissapeared randomly as has happened before. Dunno must be a bug or something?
ReplyDeleteBecause 30 something Paul Walker has been in the "news" lately for dating a teen, i have noticed how much he looks like Kevin Costner who kind of looked like a Paul Newman type? Probably looks more like another old hollywood actor, i just can't think of anyone right now
ReplyDeleteHollywood keeps remaking the same movies over and over with slight variations on a theme, i feel they do the same with actors/actresses. Every new one reminds of an old one. Lindsey Lohan looks just like Ann Margaret(sp) when red haired. Hollywood the recycling machine keeps chugging along. It's like these old farts who run the machine don't want to let go of their old stars, they are so nostalgic, no?
